Su hào, cà rốt gọt vỏ, cắt thành sợi. Hành tím, hành lá cắt nhỏ.
Tôm làm sạch, bóc vỏ, bỏ đầu và đuôi rồi rạch bỏ chỉ đen trên lưng tôm.
Phi thơm hành tím với 2 muỗng canh dầu ăn, cho tôm vào, xào nhanh khoảng 1 phút.
Đổ khoảng 500ml nước vào nồi, nấu sôi. Khi nước sôi, cho cà rốt, su hào, 1 muỗng cà phê muối, 1 muỗng cà phê hạt nêm, 1/2 muỗng cà phê tiêu cho vừa ăn.
Khi thấy canh sôi, rắc hành lá vào, tắt bếp. Múc canh ra tô và dùng với cơm nào!
