Microtransaction is find. Not loot boxes where you purchase 10 loot boxes for 20 bucks not knowing what you're gonna get or some ridiculous grinding mobile game style in a 60 dollar game like Mortal Kombat 11 before patch.

they will just switch to downright selling skins, weapons and other stuff for a ridiculous price. You can get those through stuff you can grind but it will take so long that people buy the currency. And they can still say that you can get everything through playing the game and that it was never designed to own everything. This way they can still make a boatload of money and buy themselves a few more years

Belgium has banned lootboxes from all games because it's considered as gambling. I'm not speaking about microtransactions, which can be good if it's just a skin, a weapon, a hat or whatever
