Cải xanh rửa sạch, bỏ lá sâu, lá già, ngâm nước muối khoảng 15 phút rồi vớt ra để ráo. Cà rốt gọt vỏ, dưa chuột ngâm nước muối.
Xắt sợi các loại củ trên. Gừng lấy một chút đập dập để ướp thịt bò, còn lại thái sợi nhỏ.
Thịt bò thái vừa ăn, ướp với muối, tiêu, gừng khoảng 15 phút rồi xào chín trên lửa to. Xếp cải, thịt bò, dưa chuột, cà rốt, gừng ra đĩa.
